International Distance Course Information

Lake Mead Triathlon takes place at Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Boulder City, NV.

Swim (1500m)

Boulder Beach: A triangular course starting and finishing on Boulder Beach.

Transition 1

On the same road as the Swim Start (which was a boat launch ramp years ago).

Bike (40k)

A course of rolling hills on Lakeshore Drive to Las Vegas Bay and back to Boulder Beach.

Transition 2

Same location as Transition 1.

Run (10k)

An out and back course on the River Mountain Trail, North, to Saddle Island and back.

Aid Stations

Hammer Nutrition is the Official Nutrition Sponsor of the Lake Mead Triathlon. Hammer HEED will be available on the Bike and Run Courses. Hammer Gels will be available on all Run Courses and the Long Bike Course.

Bike

There are no aid stations on the International Bike Course.
