Q: What about USAT annual and daily licenses?

A: ALL participants must have a USAT License. The Imathlete.com registration site will allow you to enter your annual license number or purchase a $10.00, (1) day license while registering online. Through a cooperative agreement between USAT and Imathlete, you will also sign your USAT Event waiver on-line. This will speed up the Pack Pick-Up process.

Q: Can members of a relay team pick up all of their team members packets? Can I pick up my friend's packet?

A: Every participant must pick up their own packet.

Q: Do I have to wear the wrist band given to me at packet pick-up?

A: Yes, all participants are required to wear the wristband until race finish afternoon when your bike is removed from transition. Race staff will put these on your wrist when you pick up your packet. This will serve as your identification for entering into the transition Saturday morning.

Q: Do I have to wear the swim cap?

A: Yes, the swim cap MUST be worn. The color given to each athlete is specific to your wave, so you cannot switch colors.

Q: Will there be toilets on the run?

A: Yes, there will be porta-potties inside transition and at the Olympic and Long Course turnarounds.

Q: Where is the best place for spectators to watch the race?

A: At Boulder Beach. Spectators can see you go in the water, come out, transition twice and finish the race. We discourage spectators/family members from following athletes out to the bike course. Its already a challenge for the athletes to be involved in the energy of the race without additional cars and/or distractions on the bike course.

Q: Are there any refunds, transfers or deferrals?

A: There are NO entry fee refunds or deferrals.

Q: What is the minimum age to participate in the Lake Mead Triathlon?

A: All athletes must be at least 16 years old to participate in this event.
